A new study shows that being physically active may help lower the risk of getting pancreatic cancer. Researchers looked at 25 studies. They found that people who were more active had a lower chance of getting this cancer than those who were less active.

Exercise helps with many types of cancer, but this study focused on pancreatic cancer. It found a clear link: people who moved more were less likely to develop it. Walking, gardening, and dancing all count as physical activity. You don’t need to run a marathon. Just moving more in your daily life can help.

But here’s one thing: being active didn’t seem to help people live longer after they were already diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. So, the best time to be active is before any diagnosis. This means regular activity could help protect your health in the long run.

Try to make movement part of your day. Even small changes can make a difference. The more active you are, the more you may lower your cancer risk.
