A healthy lifestyle can make a big difference for cancer survivors. Researchers looked at over 200,000 survivors and found that those with the healthiest habits had a much lower risk of death and heart disease.

The study showed that cancer survivors who followed healthy lifestyles had a 43% lower risk of dying from any cause. They were also 30% less likely to die from cancer and had a 47% lower risk of heart disease. Colorectal cancer survivors benefited the most, with a 37% lower risk of death. Breast cancer survivors had a 45% lower risk.

The researchers found that healthy habits, such as eating well, exercising, and avoiding smoking, work together to improve overall health. Even small changes can have a big impact.

Doctors recommend that cancer survivors focus on improving their daily habits. Eating more fruits and vegetables, staying active, and avoiding smoking can help survivors live longer and healthier lives.
